Mark C. Butts – Managing Member

Mark Butts is a CPA and an attorney, with more than 25 years experience in the fields of accounting, finance, taxation and law, including the formulation of business strategy, the preparation of business plans and financial models, and private placement documents. His career in financial management includes service with a Big Four accounting firm, due diligence investigations, and experience as Chief Financial Officer and in-house counsel. Mr. Butts is a magna cum laude graduate of the University of Massachusetts @ Amherst with a B.B.A. in accounting. He received a J.D. cum laude from Suffolk University Law School, an L.L.M. (Taxation) from Boston University Law School where he was the recipient of the Graduate Tax Alumni Award given for academic excellence, and an L.L.M. (Technology Law) from Suffolk University Law School.  Mr. Butts holds Series 24, 7, 79, and 63 securities registrations.

Mr. Butts co-founded Boston Equity Advisors in 2000.
